What exactly happened to the old .ca?

Probably a server-overload or meltdown, and lots of scripts got modified by that? Dunno. All I know for sure is that it doesn't work, and won't work until maybe 2 weeks.

A backup board is always a good thing to have.

I don't want this one to be deleted [this board]. I'm starting to think it's funny how pathetic and desperate we are for the real .ca! I think it'd be funny to look back on us in a few weeks when .ca is back up.

or we can just keep it as an alternative for whenever .ca is down, even though it's not usually down for a long while.

its loading lots faster! I know that much! :-)


but whatever you've gotta do to get it back up, we'll all be okay with I'm sure of it! if you can't save our accounts, we'll make new ones, no worries!

let me know if I can help with anything at all (make you cookies, wipe your brow free of perspiration, etc.)!

.ca 2.0 was a nice home while it lasted hey

of course, I found it right after .ca started working again... and it only had trouble for a day... but still, in the future this is going to be reallllly nice.
